World Economics

I've always had a general fascination with economics so much so that I took two introductory classes in collage: Macro and Micro Economics. I found it amazing that if ALL the correct principals are put together it is possible for a company or a country to be successful in a local or global economy. I emphasize all because that is the key it requires an mind broad enough to remember to consider all the variable and possible influences on the relevant economy. Ultimately this is why I never perused a career as an antrapanuer or any otherwise economy based career I felt myself lacking in this area. I now find myself wondering if I sold my self short because there are many others who have made a living in making economic advice but do not have a broad enough horizon of thought to adequately consider the important variables or influences on the economy. There is a great article in the Wall street Journal illustrating this point. It explains how Chinas push to make a strong entry into the world market sacrificed its local economy and now as we move into a recession or perhaps even a depression China may not have the local financial support to keep itself afloat.

The China Growth Fantasy - By YASHENG HUANG From Wall Street Journal Asia.
Remember the hype about "decoupling"? Not so long ago, Western analysts -- in particular investment-bank economists -- were peddling the idea that China had become a powerful economic center of its own, able not only to drive its own growth independent of the United States but also to power the global economy forward.

To the extent that these Wall Street economists are still employed, few would make that argument now. The economic numbers emerging out of China are sobering. Exports, still the backbone of the economy, are contracting for the first time in seven years, according to the latest data. They're being driven down by slackening demand overseas. Even worse is the sharp decline of imports, a sure sign of falling domestic demand. These two developments taken together signal monumental economic challenges ahead. Clearly China is not bucking global trends.

New reality of Terorism

It used to be the term terrorist brought to mind some thug with and AK and a bomb attached to a vest. This picture no longer represents the modern terrorist this is an antiquated vision the AK represents a by gone era of war fair and the vest a suggestion that at the wearer will die even if no one else does. This picture implies one person who usually with out any plans simply tries to make his way in to a populated area for greater casualties and has had little more planning than this. Terrorism is no longer this simple and as such we can no longer expect to be able to sit our selves in a glass house, shut our eyes and pretend people do not exist out side who are watching us and planning our demise. What I'm I talking about am I just some paranoid freak? Well maybe but the happenings in Mumbai over the thanksgiving weekend illustrates to us what terrorism is becoming, its sophisticated, its well planed out, it is calculated, it is trained, it is timed, it is well funded and they are getting better. We cannot simply hide from it any more this evil has to be sought out and killed or it will come and kill us. Doubt me, I bet vacationers and residents of Mumbia doubted this fact and learned just how intolerant and desperate terrorists are to SEEK out people who are different from them and kill them. It is a hard lesson to learn some refuse to learn it til there dying breath.

Think I'm exaggerating judge for yourself read of the Mumbai attack and seriously tell me this was not well planed, funded and a deliberate effort to find, kill and victimise with no remorse.

"The Mumbai attack is uniquely different from past terror strikes carried out by Islamic terrorists. Instead of one or more bombings at distinct sites, the Mumbai attackers struck throughout the city using military tactics. Instead of one or more bombings carried out over a short period of time, Mumbai is entering its third day of crisis."

Despite Bells and Whistles, 'Office of President-Elect' Holds No Authority

The props that decorate the stage for the Office of the President-elect serve as just that, since Barack Obama will hold no actual authority in the Executive Branch until Jan. 20.
President-elect Barack Obama is looking very presidential these days. When he makes an announcement, he is ringed by American flags and stands behind a lectern that has a very presidential-looking placard announcing "The Office of the President-Elect."

Media Blackouts Continue

During presidential years I find my self watching less and less TV and spending more time listening to the radio and searching the Internet. Why you say, is it because I don't like to stay appraised of current events, may be I don't like participating in the electoral process, maybe I'm just trying to save electricity. Actually it is be cause I'm and individual thinker, not a lemming. Intelligent individuals know when the wool is being pulled over eyes.

The networks are now trying so hard to avoid the real news that I just get curious to see what is really going on. Really don't you think someone with out proof of citizen ship of this country running for president would be news worthy? With both of the previous two elections there so many accusations of voter fraud that you'd think the slightest hint of it would take front page today? Well guess again hidden under all the trumped up news are ongoing investigations in to ACORN. What for you say? Voter fraud. No not ACORN that is the community activist organization that Obama is involved with and the Messiah would not be involved with such an organization.

When you do a little searching and find the real news you find years of attempts at voter fraud resulting in numerous investigations and some convictions of ACORN members. Don't believe me just go to NewsMax.com they have a pretty good list for you to start with. Do a Google search you'll find more. There is however one more to add to this list, an investigation has recently begun in Nevada too. Nevada State authorities raided the Los Vegas offices of ACORN and ceased computers and boxes of paperwork. Apparently they turned in enough fraudulent names there to draw some attention and under closer investigation it was found they were even trying to use the names of the starting line up for the Dallas Cowboys, bright real bright. Get more of the story on ACORN Vegas Office Raided

So some IQ challenged individuals may say, so they tried and were caught "No harm no Fowl" the problem is these are just the times they were caught we don't actually know if there were any successful attempts. Additionally they are now showing a pattern of trying to evade the law and every time they don't succeed they fire a couple employees and let them take the fall and go to jail. The real problem is they are testing the system just like that dog you have a hard time keeping in you yard they try everything until finally they find the method that works. Once they figure it out they'll keep doing it, the problem is when the dog gets out of the yard it is apparent because the dog is gone but once ACORN is successful at steeling an election most Americans will be oblivious because the the same media that is complicit in covering things like this up won't say a word.

Very Very Interesting

Thanks to an anonymous comment I ran across a very interesting development. I remember back when McCain decided to run for president a question of his citizenship came up of course McCain was able to bring forward the proper parer work and it all turned out to be nothing but a concerted effort non-the-less had been made by the media and the opposition to disqualify him. Well now it turns out Barack Hussein Obama does not have the documentation to prove he is an American citizen. His claim is that he was born in Hawaii but he cannot produce the proof. According to Attorney Philip J. Berg Barack was born in Kenya and as such is not legally qualified to run for president. Go to http://www.obamacrimes.com/ and Citizen Wells

Jeff Schreiber has provided an update in the Philip J Berg lawsuit. Mr.Berg has filed a Motion for Leave to File an Amended Complaint. Here are some experts from Jeff Schreiber’s explanation: (Read the rest) Citizen Wells

As I say you don't get the real news from the network Media you have to go to talk radio or find it your self. Thank you anonymous commenter for the heads up.

Do a little research yourself on Google there is plenty to read I'll get you started Google

Could this explain why Barack clung on to the Illegal Alien "Yes we can" slogan, Is this why he supports Amnesty?

What's My Problem with Barack Hussein Obama

Why don't I like Barack Hussein Obama well there are so many reasons: anti self protection, anti domestic energy, anti capitalist, anti free choice, pro big government, pro tax, pro infanticide.....

A recent chain of mean spirited gaffs just pisses me off. It starts with Obama making a comment that we don't need a president that does not know how to use a computer. Excuse me, that was very callused and cruel thing to say because it is not that McCain does not know how to use a computer it is that his Prison Camp injuries have rendered him incapable of using a keyboard. Placing our arms in front of us on a keyboard is something so simple most people take it for granted but McCain is simply not able to do it.

As if this idiotic statement were not enough then the Obama campaign suggests that McCain's stay in the Hanoi Hilton was not that bad in fact his captors took great care of him. Well the Obama worshiping blatantly Liberally biased media herd this loud and clear and is now calling for McCain's captors to come forward and verify the torture inflicted upon him. My hell who the f*** do they think they are all they have to do is talk to his physicians and the VA and they will verify the multiple fractures and injuries that rendered irreparable damage to his body. If you can't tell I'm pissed, I used to think Obama was an interesting guy (not interesting enough to vote for him) but now I just think he is an ASS!

Obama's Not Exactlys

This is long but a must read, if you have any love for this country, and after reading it all then check it out on Google then you will know just who this man OBAMA really is. And if you are closed minded to this then just be that way. But don't run and hide from the truth. The fact is he will destroy all that we as Americans believe in. Mind you these are not my words they are the words of Terry Anderson, a black Los Angeles talk radio host, so don't go calling me a racist for disagreeing with Obama. Although I do recall the libs saying Palin was not a woman because she was conservative so by that faulty logic I guess Terry is not really black so he must be a racist too for criticizing Obama. In any case Terry went down this list of things senator Obama has said that are not exactly correct.

Tuesday, May 27, 2008 Obama's Not Exactlys

1.) Selma March Got Me Born - NOT EXACTLY, your parents felt safe enough to have you in 1961 - Selma had no effect on your birth, as Selma was in 1965. (Google 'Obama Selma' for his full March 4, 2007 speech and articles about its various untruths).

2.) My Father Was A Goat Herder - NOT EXACTLY, he was a privileged, well educated youth, who went on to work with the Kenyan Government.

3.) My Father Was A Proud Freedom Fighter - NOT EXACTLY, he was part of one of the most corrupt and violent governments Kenya has ever had.

4.) My Family Has Strong Ties To African Freedom - NOT EXACTLY, your cousin Raila Odinga has created mass violence in attempting to overturn a legitimate election in 2007, in Kenya . It is the first widespread violence in decades. The current government is pro-American but Odinga wants to overthrow it and establish Muslim Sharia law. Your half-brother, Abongo Obama, is Odinga's follower. You interrupted your New Hampshire campaigning to speak to Odinga on the phone. Obama's cousin Odinga in Kenya ran for president and tried to get Sharia muslim law in place there. When Odinga lost the elections, his followers have burned Christians' homes and then burned men, women and children alive in a Christian church where they took shelter.. Obama SUPPORTED his cousin before the election process here started. Google Obama and Odinga and see what you get. No one wants to know the truth.

5.) My Grandmother Has Always Been A Christian - NOT EXACTLY, she does her daily Salat prayers at 5am according to her own interviews. Not to mention, Christianity wouldn't allow her to have been one of 14 wives to 1 man.

6.) My Name is African Swahili - NOT EXACTLY, your name is Arabic and 'Baraka' (from which Barack came) means 'blessed' in that language. Hussein is also Arabic and so is Obama. Barack Hussein Obama is not half black. If elected, he would be the first Arab-American President, not the first black President. Barack Hussein Obama is 50% Caucasian from his mother's side and 43.75% Arabic and 6.25% African Negro from his father's side. While Barack Hussein Obama's father was from Kenya , his father's family was mainly Arabs.. Barack Hussein Obama's father was only 12.5% African Negro and 87.5% Arab (his father's birth certificate even states he's Arab, not African Negro). From....and for more....go to..... http://www.arcadeathome.com/newsboy.phtml?Barack_Hussein_Obama_-_Arab-American,_only_6.25%25_African

7.) I Never Practiced Islam. - NOT EXACTLY, you practiced it daily at school, where you were registered as a Muslim and kept that faith for 31 years, until YOUR WIFE made you change, so you could run for office. 4-3-08 Article 'Obama was 'quite religious in Islam'' http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=60559

8.) My School In Indonesia Was Christian. - NOT EXACTLY, you were registered as Muslim there and got in trouble in Koranic Studies for making faces (check your own book). February 28, 2008. Kristoff from the New York Times a year ago: Mr. Obama recalled the opening lines of the Arabic call to prayer, reciting them with a first-rate accent. In a remark that seemed delightfully uncalculated (it'll give Alabama voters heart attacks), Mr. Obama described the call to prayer as 'one of the prettiest sounds on Earth at sunset.' This is just one example of what Pamela is talking about when she says 'Obama's narrative is being altered, enhanced and manipulated to whitewash troubling facts.'

9.) I Was Fluent In Indonesian - NOT EXACTLY, not one teacher says you could speak the language.

10.) Because I Lived In Indonesia , I Have More Foreign Experience – NOT EXACTLY, you were there from the ages of 6 to 10, and couldn't even speak the language. What did you learn except how to study the Koran and watch cartoons.

11.) I Am Stronger On Foreign Affairs - NOT EXACTLY, except for Africa (surprise) and the Middle East (bigger surprise), you have never been anywhere else on the planet and thus have NO experience with our closest allies.

12.) I Blame My Early Drug Use On Ethnic Confusion - NOT EXACTLY, you were quite content in high school to be Barry Obama, no mention of Kenya and no mention of struggle to identify - your classmates said you were just fine.

13.) An Ebony Article Moved Me To Run For Office - NOT EXACTLY, Ebony has yet to find the article you mention in your book. It doesn't, and never did, exist.

14.) A Life Magazine Article Changed My Outlook On Life - NOT EXACTLY, Life has yet to find the article you mention in your book. It doesn't, and never did, exist.

15.) I Won't Run On A National Ticket In '08 - NOT EXACTLY, here you are, ‘Lucky Us’, despite saying, live on TV, that you would not have enough experience by then, and you are all about having experience first.

16.) Voting 'Present' is Common In Illinois Senate - NOT EXACTLY, they are common for YOU, but not many others have 130 NO VOTES.

17.) Oops, I Mis-voted - NOT EXACTLY, only when caught by church groups and Democrats, did you beg to change your mis-vote.

18.) I Was A Professor Of Law - NOT EXACTLY, you were a senior lecturer ON LEAVE.

19.) I Was A Constitutional Lawyer - NOT EXACTLY, you were a senior lecturer ON LEAVE.

20.) Without Me, There Would Be No Ethics Bill - NOT EXACTLY, you didn't write it, introduce it, change it or create it.

21.) The Ethics Bill Was Hard To Pass - NOT EXACTLY, it took just 14 days from start to finish, and had no part in it’s passing or failing.

22.) I Wrote A Tough Nuclear Bill - NOT EXACTLY, your bill was rejected by your own party for its pandering and lack of all regulation – mainly because of your Nuclear donor, Exelon, from which David Axelrod came. BRILLIANT!

24.) I Took On The Asbestos Altgeld Gardens Mess - NOT EXACTLY, you were part of a large group of people who remedied Altgeld Gardens . You failed to mention anyone else but yourself, in your books.

25.) My Economics Bill Will Help America - NOT EXACTLY, your 111 economic policies were just combined into a proposal which lost 99-0, and even YOU voted against your own bill. GENIUS!

26.) I Have Been A Bold Leader In Illinois - NOT EXACTLY, even your own supporters claim to have not seen BOLD action on your part.

27.) I Passed 26 Of My Own Bills In One Year - NOT EXACTLY, they were not YOUR bills, but rather handed to you, after their creation by a fellow Senator, to assist you in a future bid for higher office. In the real world that’s called ‘Passing the Buck’, not a bill.

28.) No One on my campaign contacted Canada about NAFTA - NOT EXACTLY, the Canadian Government issued the names and a memo of the conversation your campaign had with them. ALZHIEMERS OR SOME TIMERS?

29.) I Am Tough On Terrorism - NOT EXACTLY, you missed the Iran Resolution vote on terrorism and your good friend Ali Abunimah supports the destruction off Israel . Lest us not forget your RADICAL family ties in Kenya.

30.) I Want All Votes To Count - NOT EXACTLY, you said let the delegates decide.

31.) I Want Americans To Decide - NOT EXACTLY, you prefer caucuses that limit the vote, confuse the voters, force a public vote, and only operate during small windows of time. Face it, we are talking ‘Subversion’ here, aren’t we?

Big CEO's

To day I came across the list of 2007's top 10 highest paid CEO's as calculated by Associated Press for Standard & Poor's 500 companies. They are:

1. Larry Ellison, Oracle Corp., $84.6

2. John Thain, Merrill Lynch & Co., $83.1

3. Leslie Moonves, CBS Corp., $67.6

4. Richard Adkerson, Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold Inc., $65.3

5. Bob Simpson, XTO Energy Inc., $56.6

6. Lloyd Blankfein, Goldman Sachs Group Inc., $54.0

7. Kenneth Chenault, American Express Co., $51.7

8. Eugene Isenberg, Nabors Industries Ltd., $44.6

9. John Mack, Morgan Stanley, $41.7

10. Glenn Murphy, Gap Inc., $39.1

What you've got to be kidding me there is only one CEO on the list from a "Big Oil" related company and he is only #5! So if all that money Big Oil is making is not going to there CEO's then just where is it going?

Move Along There's No News Here

So on Friday the media blackout on the John Edwards affair has ended but this was not in an effort to appear fair balanced it was simply that they were forced to when he admitted to it. Surprisingly the Enquirer had it right when they broke this news four years ago and the liberally biased network media has been making a good effort to ignore, even cover it up ever since. John says this won’t hurt him though and it is obvious it won’t they have no moral values immoral act only hurt people who claim to have values and morals. Look at a just a couple of his pears senator Kennedy got away with murder. Clinton “did not have sex with that woman” in the oval office and now has the gall to lecture Africa on monogamy and the media just swoons.

Now I’d just like to know what it is going to take to end the media blackout on the republican contingent that stayed in session and challenged the Dem’s to do the same until they can come up with some real energy solutions and put them to a vote. It’s been over a week now and I have not seen a thing about it on the tube I have to go to the radio and the web to find out anything about it. By the way you can only find real unbiased news on the radio these days. It is interesting to note that even though the republicans are remaining in Washington to debate energy Pelosi had the CSPAN cameras turned off, my question is what’s she afraid of? Maybe that the fog will lift from the brain washed masses eyes and they will see that the Dem’s are absent from one of the hottest topics. Or is she afraid people will see just how much the Dem’ care about the average Joe who can hardly afford to put gas in his car to get to work.

Stop Being So Narrow Minded

I can't afford to put gas in my car but Barack Hussein Obama and T Boone Pickens says “We can’t drill our way out of this” of course he says that he has big stakes in wind generation. Pick any glassy eyed Democrat out of a crowd and he’ll recite the memorized tripe about conservation and idle oil fields (fallacy), Republicans say we need to “Drill here Drill now” but there all just memorized talking points and fancy slogans. I used to be a mechanic so I know the benefits of a well tuned car and fully inflated tires, I don’t use my A/C (which drives my wife crazy by the way), I work from home one day a week, I ride my bike, combine trips whenever possible, I drive a little “skate” even though I could go finance a giant gas guzzling SUV if I wanted to but all my conservation has not added a single gallon to my gas tank. I bought in to the whole Ethanol thing in fact I own a flex-fuel vehicle but we now see what using our food to feed our cars has done. Now we find out that Ethanol may be lower in carbon emissions but it produces more carcinogens such as formaldehyde.

The truth is no one single thing is going to fix the energy crisis it’s going to take a combination of everything. We are waste full as Americans we do need to learn to conserve but we also need to become more self-reliant & start producing more of our own oil. I keep hearing the mantra that “Even if we did start drilling today we wouldn't get any relief for 10 years” that’s stretching the truth if not a bold faced lie. The fact of the matter is Drilling for more oil will provide greater measure relief sooner than any other source either in development or currently in production because the infrastructure is already in place. At this point however fossil fuels should only be a crutch till we can build the infrastructure for better means of producing electricity.

I grew up in a town where the wind blew every day and as a child I always wondered why the wind was not used to produce electricity. Today wind is becoming feasible but it is still a way off due to obvious challenges such as finding places where there is enough constant wind around the clock to be reliable because storage on that level still has not become viable. Today one of the most practical alternative sources is nuclear but for some reason we do not match up to other countries. According to the IAEA in 2006 the US only received 19% of its electricity from Nuclear Generation, France received 78% and Belgium 54% we sit at the bottom of the list with Russia and South Africa with 16 & 4 percent respectively. There are many other alternatives but my point is our politicians need to stop being so narrow-minded there is no silver bullet per-say for this problem we need to attack it from all sides we need to drill now, we need to conserve and we need to come up with feasible alternative means to produce energy.

Just a random blog on Compassion

I read something today that I always figured but never had any proof of. I know many conservative people who donate a lot of their time and money to charitable causes and I hear a lot of liberals preach about compassion and civic duty but who as a group is really the compassionate ones. Just to clarify I do not consider taxes contributing nor do I consider volunteering time or money to political organizations charitable. Back to my point Arthur C Brooks, a Syracuse University professor did a study and then published his findings in the book "Who Really Cares: The Surprising Truth About Compassionate Conservatism." Here are a few of his key findings:

“-- Although liberal families' incomes average 6 percent higher than those of conservative families, conservative-headed households give, on average, 30 percent more to charity than the average liberal-headed household ($1,600 per year vs. $1,227).

-- Conservatives also donate more time and give more blood.

-- Residents of the states that voted for John Kerry in 2004 gave smaller percentages of their incomes to charity than did residents of states that voted for George Bush.

-- Bush carried 24 of the 25 states where charitable giving was above average.

-- In the 10 reddest states, in which Bush got more than 60 percent majorities, the average percentage of personal income donated to charity was 3.5. Residents of the bluest states, which gave Bush less than 40 percent, donated just 1.9 percent.

-- People who reject the idea that "government has a responsibility to reduce income inequality" give an average of four times more than people who accept that proposition.”

Unlike many who are blessed with the gift of gab and flowery speech he does not use a lot of vague generalities and hyperbole to prove his point he actually has the numbers.

Then just to add to this when the Obama’s released their tax papers it was revealed in their early years earning incomes exceeding $240,000 all they could part with in the way of monetary charitable donations was a measly $1000. My first year out of college my cash charitable donations were at least that amount and I made only 1/6 what they did. I’m tired of hearing hypocrite liberals preach about compassion and using government to redistribute other people’s money.

Racism

I have to say something; I will not divulge any of the details that elicited these feelings because they were told to me in confidence.

I hate racism! I hate racism! I hate racism!!!

I try really hard not to ever have feelings of hatred towards anyone, I may really hate the way a person acts or what he/she does but I truly try to not to hate the person. But racism sometimes just makes me furious… I have trouble coming up with the correct words to accurately describe my feelings. We’re all human beings we're all created by the same God and have the same value in his eyes. And if you don’t believe in a god then we’re all just meat sacks and we're all going to become fertilizer when we die none more valuable than the other. I’m not going to recite the cultural diversity of my friends I have no need to justify myself I don’t judge people on things such as skin color, language or nationality.

One of the most disappointing things to me is to find out that someone I know is racist and when I hear of someone I know being treated poorly based on nothing more than race it is hard to describe the feelings I have.

It is OK to disagree with people philosophically, politically, morally or even religiously these are honest, reasonable and perhaps even intelligent reasons to disagree with or even separate yourself from another person or social group. But when a kind sincere person approaches another in friendship and is turned away simply because of a difference in race that is inexcusable.

I can’t even begin to discuss race based violence, I can’t compose the words.

Think about it.

Here are just a few things to think about.

550 tons of Yellow Cake Uranium was found in Iraq but this was never released to the press till yesterday 7/6/2008 because it was feared release of this news would hurt diplomatic relations with the Countries involved or incite the terrorist plots to hinder the uranium's removal. So you mean to tell me that all that time people were dragging Bush through the mud with accusations of no WMD's he risked his credibility and reputation just to keep those involved in the removal efforts safe and to preserve diplomatic relations with other countries... Bastard how dare he.

The concept of idle oils field is a fallacy, to put it simply the oil companies have to lease the land from the government before they can explore. Once they've leased the land they have to continue paying on it, whether or not they actually find any oil, till the lease is up. So these supposed "Idol Oil Fields" in fact either never even had oil at all or the resources required to harvest it makes it financially unreasonable. If you want to know more go to http://www.relocalize.net/the_idle_oil_field_fallacy

Since the Dem's took congress gas prises have risen over 70%... Coincidentally Congresses approval rating is only 9% and 52% say Congress is doing a poor job. Hum!!!

To date Barack Hussein Obama has received some quite prestigious endorsements.

Second Amendment

OK here we go I did not intend on ever directly addressing this topic because I am not the most adept person at explaining it.

I heard something this weekend from a man in position of authority in the congregation I attend each Sunday. With the 4th coming up the lessons had a patriotic theme and he was discussing the Preamble, Bill of rights, Amendments and the Federalist Papers. Usually people who know about the Federalist Papers have a pretty good understanding of things of this nature. I was very disappointed thought when he made mention of the recent ruling by the Supreme Court regarding DC's gun ban. He said that ruling "Redefined" the second amendment... ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!! I hope it was merely poor choice of words because that ruling was nothing more than a clarification of the originally intended meaning.

First of all the second amendment did not set out any new rights regarding arms, it simply codifies, as does the First and Fourth, a preexisting right. The right of citizens to privately hold and bear arms was a preexisting right that was set out under English law dating back as far as the 12th century. The Second Amendment frankly establishes that this right shall not be infringed.

An understanding of the origins of this amendment is needed to understand how it relates to a militia but quite simply; at that point in time the government did not issue arms, it was the obligation of every citizen to provide their own arms and keep them well maintained. This requirement however was not for the sole purpose of forming a militia it is also tied back to English common law and the right to self defence.

Additionally when the Second Amendment refers to "people" it is not referring to people collectively it is referring to people individually. A reading and understanding of its definition as used in the federalist papers and the fourth amendment bears this out and to suggest that the meaning is somehow different would make the second an anomaly. Not to mention the fact that the other 9 of the first 10 amendments set up protections for individuals from and oppressive government and to separate the Second Amendment from them makes no logical sense.

This is by no means an in depth explanation of the Second Amendment to do so would take pages and has already been done my many before me and now the Supreme Court has just reaffirmed what bright individuals familiar with the history and origins of this Amendment already knew so I will not belabor the point.

I just may piss you off

I've never been in to blogging I just did not have the patients and it did not seem very interesting however I decided to give it a try to vent some of my thought about current events and such. Here's where I post my disclaimer, I have opinions some strong some not so strong I also have a tendency to say inflammatory things such as "I believe political correctness is synonymous with moral corruptness!" So if you are easily offended you may not want to spend too much time on my blog.

I do have a couple rulles.

  • My rules are not set in stone, they are my rules so I can change them when ever I want.

  • You are free to disagree with me but I am not obligated to post your comments, the first amendment guarantees you the right of free speech but it does not guarantee you the right to an audience nor does is compel me to make you a part of my blog. That’s not to say I won’t post a dissenting opinion, if you’re not rude or condescending I just may post your comments.

A bit about me, I claim some conservative view points, although some people have accused me of being a bit anarchist I think that's going too far. I believe government today is too involved in our daily lives and has stepped beyond what the founding fathers designed, and on that note, I know the founding fathers were inspired by GOD. I'm registered as a republican simply because I have to have a party to vote, I was a Dem at one time but that didn't work out. I know the pledge and I put my hand on my heart when I say it and I believe anyone who doesn't is either ignorant or has no respect for the lives that were given for their freedom. I love the men and women who serve in our nations military and one of my biggest regrets is that I never served.

I am married and have children, my family is the most important thing to me so important to me that I own gun am trained and practice with it because I take their safety and protection personally. Yes I have a CCL and a gun lock, if I'm with the fam it's likely I'm carrying and if I'm not carrying the gun is locked and put away, it's all about safety either way.

Well that’s enough for today if I haven’t pissed you off just wait because if I keep with this blogging thing I'm bound to do it some time.
